AdSchool delivers industry-recognised training for people working in the advertising and marketing communication industry. Conducted by Advertising Council Australia, its courses cover all disciplines of advertising and marketing, are designed for all levels from entry to executive level, and are taught by senior industry practitioners. Established in 1991, each training course is developed in close consultation with industry groups, practitioners and academic education leaders. Courses are taught by leading advertising and marketing specialists who share their IP. Classes comprise a mix of lectures, case studies and group work. All classes require active student participation and discussion, as well as a series of practical exercises, group activities and in some cases an end-of- term exam. Courses are usually 8 weeks, with some shorter 1-2 day workshops also throughout the year.
