Established in Brisbane in 1881, Queensland College of Art (QCA) is one of Australia’s longest established art and design colleges. Thousands of professional designers and artists have commenced or advanced successful careers with the QCA. The student community comprises around 1,400 designers, artists animators, filmmakers and photographers, from around Australia and some 25 other countries. Class sizes are small with the emphasis placed on individual attention. As part of Griffith University in the Brisbane/Gold Coast region, the QCA offers programs on four campuses. The main campus is located at South Bank in the cultural heart of the city.
