Within the School of Arts, you can experience a variety of practical and theoretical subjects and learning activities. You can gain industry experience and hone your communication skills devising and delivering real strategies to real clients in our in-house consultancy and you’ll have access to our $1.7 million Media Arts Centre which features TV and radio studios, a newsroom, editing suites, digital postproduction facilities and more for you to use and build your creative portfolio. You will be taught by lecturers who are practicing industry professionals in the communication and creative industries, benefitting from their extensive experience and professional networks. Students are also given the opportunity to complete work placements with professional organisations during their final year, allowing them to develop industry networks and gain valuable experience before they graduate.

Within an undergraduate Arts degree with Murdoch, you can enhance your career prospects by choosing to major in two separate subject areas, without adding any extra course time.
