The Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra provides undergraduate and postgraduate education in the areas of Design & Architecture, Humanities, Museums and Conservation, Applied Linguistics, Media Arts & Graphic Design, Communication, Journalism & Creative Writing.
The Faculty offers an interdisciplinary program, which means that while students specialise in professional disciplines, they also collaborate regularly across disciplines to develop an advanced understanding of how the designed environment is shaped and enhanced by the interaction of ideas and actions. Our graduates can be found working around the world, and the Faculty’s postgraduate coursework and research options are tailored to the global mobility of designers and creative practitioners.
The Faculty is committed to making Canberra an international centre for the learning, teaching, and research of design, creative practice, communication, heritage practice and applied linguistics.
