North Metropolitan TAFE offers a unique learning environment in Perth’s cultural precinct with the Art Gallery of WA, PICA, WA Museum, State Reference Library and the central CBD as neighbours, and international influences via local businesses in Northbridge. Purpose-built facilities serve Vocation programs in Film & Television, Fashion & Textile Design, Interior Design, Visual Art, Jewellery Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Product Design, Animation and Game Art and many more. We offer articulation programs to several university. All our programs are studio based in a practical hands-on environment.

Applications for Semester 2 2024 will open 29 April so it’s the perfect opportunity to decide if one of our creative courses are for you.
We are throwing our doors open and inviting you to tour our amazing Perth campus facilities and find out more about our diverse range of creative courses while chatting with our expert lecturers.
The event will feature a mini–Creative Industries Expo in the foyer, exhibit in Gallery Central, and tours through our campus facilities hosted by lecturers to depart at regular intervals. Depending on your areas of interest, you can choose which areas to visit including:

GRAD SHOW - Description - Can include phone numbers and emails for further information.: The 2024 Art & Design Graduate Exhibition will highlight the fantastic work our talented students have produced throughout the year across eight different creative course areas.
The exhibition will showcase student work from:
Building Design and Drafting
Fashion and Textile Design
Graphic Design
Interior Design
Jewellery (including the Jewellery Apprentice program)
Product Design
Visual Arts
The work will be displayed throughout Building 5, 12 Aberdeen Street, including Gallery Central. Look for the striking Pink Sea container!
The exhibition runs from 6 December to 12 December, from 10:30am-4pm on Monday to Friday and from 12pm-3pm on Saturday. It will be closed on Sunday.
