On Gadigal land in Darlinghurst, Sydney, the National Art School (NAS) is Australia’s leading visual arts tertiary institution.

NAS is acknowledged nationally and internationally as a centre of excellence for higher education and research, scholarship and professional practice in contemporary art. Our academics are all accomplished practising artists and art historians, and our intensive, studio-based teaching model has nurtured many of the country’s most renowned and respected artists.
